Bere Ferrers Meet Jun24/25

Karl Badham 3326
All,
After an exploratory visit over winter I have additional information available to anyone interested in this meet. The best spots for landing/ beaching o/n are hard to come by. I have a lead on the person controlling the foreshore but if possible I would like to have an idea of possible numbers as it gets busy with visiting tenders on the small beach area. Numbers would also be helpful for the landlady of the local for the same reason. The alternatives are a perverse delight in wading through thick mud or having a means to get ashore from mid channel.
Please let me know directly if you are interested in drying out or just for any additional info I might have.
Thanks,
Karl Badham

Hi Karl,

I intend to be there. I would prefer, if possible, to overnight on
the beach but can manage to anchor off if absolutely necessary.

Hi  Karl - won't be able to stay overnight at Bere Ferres, as I have to be at home earlier on Sunday morning than I could manage from there. However, weather permitting, I'll be on the water during Saturday, hoping to meet up with some of you. If possible, I'll recover boat at Saltash late afternoon and drive round to join you in pub for evening - it's only about 40 minutes from Saltash, I think. Regards, David
