Roger Barnes, thanks for your video of encouragement - very persuasive. I have noted the places you mentioned.  Can you also recommend a pilot book/source for dinghy cruising along the Brittany coast, please?

There is no local book about dinghy cruising. The Almanach du Marin Breton is excellent, but in French. Otherwise try the North Biscay Pilot by Imrays. But as always with yacht pilots it is more interested in marinas than little creeks…
