Hello - new member in Hampshire

Chris Davidson
Hello,
I live in Durley, Hampshire and have sailed my wooden GP14 for 32 years and am presently having a 16ft open clinker gaff rigged dinghy built by Jonny Burke in Glasgow. I am very interested in receiving advice  from members on the fitting out of this dinghy. My first port of call will be various books on the topic.
I will then look forward to sailing my dinghy with the Solent section and also cruising in Cornwall.

We will look forward to seeing you, Chris. Try a gentle shakedown sail first.

Hi Chris
As a newcomer to the discipline myself, I found Roger Barnes' book "The Dinghy Cruising Companion" extremely helpful. It's a recent publication, too, which means the advice is up to date with new developments.
