Masthead sheaves or blocks?

photocurio
Hi folks,
I'm trying work out how to mount an extra halyard on my masthead, for a burgee, or navigation light, etc.  Has anyone seen nice sheaves that can mount directly to the top of a masthead?

I have a little plastic block in a stainless steel casing screwed onto my masthead, just the right size for the thin cord used as a burgee halyard. Holt Allen I think. They do exist. Try your local yacht chandlers.  Mine is a wooden mast. I don't know how you do it on a metal mast.

Peter,

I attach my blocks with selvagee strops.

This one

will (when the boat is rigged) lead the jib downhaul back to the cockpit.

At the masthead the strops are longer,
with a seizing tight to the masthead and another tight to the block
so that the blocks hang downward.
(I often use thimbles rather than blocks)
